I drew this bear many years ago and boy oh boy has he taken on a multitude of forms since then! In this case I carved his silhouette into a lino block and gave him a huge stomach so that he could stock up for a long winter's nap.
This is a hand-carved, hand-pressed linocut on acid-free paper. It measures 5 x 7 inches, which leaves a little room for a mat if so desired. Signed and dated on the back. Due to the handmade nature of the linocut process, please allow for minor variations in ink adherence to the surface of the paper.
Shipped with care: surface protected with a sheet of tissue parchment, packed between two rigid sheets of recycled paper fiberboard. All of my orders ship with a little sticker too!
